This Wednesday, October 5th is the kick off for the the Kids Helping

Kids contest!  Brent and Kate from Extreme 107.1 will be playing music

at the studio from 10-noon.  During that time I will be taking photos of

kids to be entered into the contest for FREE!  (The session will be

5 minutes; or until we get a good photo of your child)  All proceeds from

the event will be donated to Iowa's Miracle Network.  Please be a part

of this event so that we can help those children in need.  Thanks everyone!

Joy is an absolutely amazing photographer. She was the first and last photographer I met with for my wedding. I had no doubt in my mind she was perfect not only for our photos, but perfect for me as well. It was very important that I have a photographer I could connect with. We had an amazing and fun time with her and her assistants during our engagement session and especially at our wedding. Everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. She is very professional with her shoots and makes you feel like you've known her for years - she jumps right in with you, your family and your friends. The pictures turned out awesome and we all had a fabulous time. - Joy you were a treat to work with and were by far the best money we spent on our entire wedding. Thanx soooo much!

"the Joy of photography" is having their GRAND OPENING!  It will be Thurday, April, 23, 2009.  The ribbon cutting will be at 4:30 infront of the studio.  Sign up for the grand prize starts Monday, April 20 at 10 AM.  The drawing for the $200 grand prize  will be given away during the ribbon cutting.  You must be present to win!  Food, beverages and music will be provided.

The top 12 babies will be photographed by "the Joy of photography" and will be put into a calendar that will be sold for charity.

All of the ladies that have booked me as their wedding photographer for 2009 and 2010, March 7th is your day!  As promised, I am having a day to thank all of you for your business.  The event will be held at my studio from 1-4.  There are several vendors that are kindly donating their time and services for the event.  Don't worry, none of them are going to try to sell you anything!  The brides will also receive a gift bag filled with gifts from several different vendors.  It is VERY important that you RSVP no later than February 16th.  You are more than welcome to invite your bridesmaids and mom.  Please get a head count so we have enough food and beverages.  The invitations will be sent out shortly.  I am waiting to hear back from a few vendors.  The invitation will have more detail as to what wil be going on and which vendors will be offering what.

For those of you who haven't booked me as your wedding photographer yet, it's not too late!  As long as you book before the event, you are more than welcome to come and be pampered as well!
